VN bolsters overland regional trade

The National Assembly’s Standing Committee yesterday discussed improving the cross-border transportation of goods as Việt Nam continues to forge deeper ties with its regional neighbours.

During yesterday’s National Assembly Standing Committee meeting, Minister of Transport Trương Quang Nghĩa submitted the proposal to sign a memorandum with Greater Sub-Mekong countries on the implementation of the Early Harvest Scheme, which would lead to a comprehensive regional agreement on facilitation of goods and people transportation across the borders. — VNA/VNS Photo Nguyễn Dân
